Delineations

A delineation is used to identify sensitive ecological areas on a property which allows for the protection of the sensitive area during development projects, ensures sustainable land use practices, and preserves the biodiversity of the preserved feature. CRM,llc will conduct an on-site assessment to define the physical limits of the sensitive ecological feature on your property to ensure compliance with Local, State, and Federal regulations. See a few examples below.

Tidal and non-tidal wetlands

100-foot resource protection area (RPA) buffer delineation

Tidal and non-tidal wetlands

A tidal wetland is a flat area that is subject to regular flooding by the tides. A tidal wetland can be vegetated or non-vegetated. Non-tidal wetlands are fed by rain, snow, or groundwater and are found around inland areas. Non-tidal wetlands are not influenced by tides. CRM,llc can identify and delineate any tidal and/or non-tidal wetlands on your property.

Coastal Primary Dunes (CPD)

100-foot resource protection area (RPA) buffer delineation

Tidal and non-tidal wetlands

A CPD is a mound of unconsolidated sandy soil that is contiguous to mean high water and whose landward and lateral limits are marked by a change in grade and has plant species associated with dunes growing on it. CPDs include both the dune and the beach zone. CRM,llc can identify and delineate the CPD system on your property.
